During my 12+ years of counseling in Oregon I have developed a wide range of skills and focus areas with measured high results. Among my areas of expertise are relationships, addictions, mood disorders, families, diversity, smoking cessation, and wellness strategies. Among my therapy modalities are DBT, mindfulness, wellness, experiential, person-centered, strength-based, and groups.
Philosophy:
I offer support as an advocate, counselor, therapist, and guide towards an individual’s awareness, empowerment, and connections. I believe that individuals are most successful when assisted with a wide range of contextual, applied strategies from a caring therapist. The compassionate approaches to counseling include reflective listening, information, creativity, respect, non-judgment, and non-discrimination.
